Temporary MyVote Wisconsin Outage
MADISON – The MyVote Wisconsin website will be offline for a few hours for maintenance and upgrades starting this evening, Friday, September 4.
The outage will begin at 5:00 p.m. on September 4, 2026, and is expected to last until 10:00 p.m. A banner was posted on MyVote alerting the public to this outage on Monday, August 31, 2026 (as seen below).
Visitors to the MyVote website will see a maintenance message regarding the temporary outage. Voters can contact the Wisconsin Elections Commission HelpDesk or their clerk for immediate assistance.
Voters will not notice any difference when the website, MyVote.wi.gov, returns. On Monday, the WEC alerted clerks about the routine maintenance and its temporary outage. A second reminder was sent to clerks today. Wisconsin voters can use MyVote to:
- Register to vote online
- Check their registration status
- Request an absentee ballot
- Find their polling place
- See what’s on their ballot
MyVote also helps users find contact information for their municipal clerk’s office.
