Suspect Arrested on 7th OWI
The driver, Martin Castillo, age 33, performed a standardized field sobriety test poorly and submitted a breath sample, which registered a .152 BrAC, over the legal limit on the preliminary breath test.
Milwaukee, WI – (July 31, 2019) The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is committed to keeping our freeways safe from intoxicated drivers.
On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at approximately 9:55 p.m., a deputy was traveling northbound on I-43 near W. Locust St. and observed a silver SUV deviating from its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and upon the deputy’s approach, the driver displayed all the indicators of impairment.
The driver, Martin Castillo, age 33, performed a standardized field sobriety test poorly and submitted a breath sample, which registered a .152 BrAC, over the legal limit on the preliminary breath test. Castillo was arrested for OWI-7th Offense, a Class F Felony carrying a fine not to exceed $25,000 or imprisonment not to exceed 12 years and 6 months or both.
