Statements of One Wisconsin Now on Epidemic of Violence

“Black lives matter.”

By - Jul 8th, 2016 12:35 pm

“We have epidemics of racism and gun violence in this nation today. Shooting back isn’t going to solve our problems, but neither is denying the reality of what we face – a society torn apart by racism with too many guns and too many politicians willing to pander to prejudice, resentment and hatred to try to win elections.

“We are all better than this. God help the families of all the victims of gun violence and God help those in power who can change things, but do nothing.

“Black lives matter.”
