Statement of Senator Jon Erpenbach on Health and Human Services Committee Meeting
“Wisconsin’s economy is stagnant, yet we must spend the day working to hurt our growing businesses.”
“Wisconsin’s economy is stagnant, yet we must spend the day working to hurt our growing businesses. We all know that Wisconsin research follows the highest standards for tissue donation trying to save lives. Bioscience accounts for over 100,000 private sector jobs in Wisconsin. And once again we are trying to keep women from birth control and family planning services. We also know that Planned Parenthood and rural clinics all over this state are providing essential healthcare in our communities. My message to the majority: take a day and actually talk to real people in this state, not just those that attend your fundraisers, this is not the priority of the people of Wisconsin. Our citizens want to improve our economy, not hinder it. Our people want to improve access to health care for all, not limit it.”
