Spirit Airlines Launches Four New Nonstop Destinations at MKE
MILWAUKEE (NOVEMBER 17, 2021) – Spirit Airlines launched its new daily nonstops between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Phoenix, AZ today. The Airport held an inaugural launch celebration at the gate. Passengers taking advantage of these new flights were treated to cookies, first flight certificates, and fun MKE swag.
“It’s great to see so many passengers taking advantage of Spirit’s low fares and new destinations today,” said Airport Director Brian Dranzik. “Our travelers are excited to beat the winter blues, and we’re so thrilled to see them here today.”
Spirit began service from Milwaukee in June with flights to Orlando, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. This now brings the total up to seven cities served nonstop from Milwaukee on Spirit.
“We’re thrilled by the strong response our low fare and high value service has received in the Badger State. We’re excited to continue growing Spirit’s presence at MKE with new, convenient nonstop options to get away to great leisure destinations or visit friends and family,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning for Spirit Airlines.
Additionally, Spirit Airlines will launch three weekly nonstop flights from Milwaukee to Cancun (CUN) this December. This will be the airline’s first international route from Milwaukee. Tickets for all flights are available now at spirit.com or on popular travel websites.
