MILWAUKEE, WI, June 4, 2014 – Songs From A Room (Sofar) began in a London, England living room in March 2009 and now hosts secret house-gigs in more than 80 cities worldwide.  This July, Milwaukee will be added to the Sofar family and begin hosting regular secret gigs across town.

Our mission is to reinvigorate the way people enjoy music and make a major difference in the lives of up-and-coming artists and bands.  We’ve persuaded friends, industry contacts, and strangers to open their homes to a carefully selected, mixed crowd of people passionate about music.  At each show, four handpicked local acts will play stripped down sets of four songs each.

The dates of our secret gigs will be announced via our global mailing list each month with the secret location only disclosed the day prior to the event.  To sign up for show announcements please visit http://bit.ly/SofarSignup.
