Senator Drake Praises Gov Evers on Releasing November SNAP Benefits Following Multiple Lawsuits Against the Trump Admin

MILWAUKEE, WI- Today the Governor Evers announced his administration will immediately deliver full November benefits for those on FoodShare after a court directed President Trump to fund the payments. Senator Dora Drake has released the following statement.

“Food and potential starvation should never be used as a political bargaining chip. The Trump Administration and Congressional Republicans are trying to force capitulation by choosing between affordable healthcare and access to food. As always Governor Evers and Wisconsin Democrats continue to serve as a guiding light for doing what’s right over partisan negligence.”
