“The I-94 East-West project is vital to the state and regional transportation network"

By - Feb 1st, 2018 04:38 pm

Today, State Senator David Craig (R-Town of Vernon) applauded Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) leadership for their commitment to find efficiencies and savings within the agency. The resulting savings will pave the way to fund the I-94 East-West corridor project.

“The I-94 East-West project is vital to the state and regional transportation network,” said Senator Craig. “Now, due to internal reforms, the DOT can take money out of the bureaucracy and put it into pavement. I applaud the efforts of DOT leadership and the Governor in finding additional savings to keep this project on track. This is what our taxpayers deserve.”

Senator Craig represents the 28th Senate District which includes parts of Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine, and Walworth counties.
