MILWAUKEE – Wednesday, November 13th – Spend this holiday season at the Oriental Theatre with Season’s Screenings, a program of films that celebrate a wide array of winter holidays. Featuring films such as The Last Waltz, The Polar Express (in 3D!), Meet Me In St. Louis, Fiddler on the Roof, The Apartment, and many more, this lineup of holiday classics is not to be missed!

“This holiday season, immerse yourself in a cinematic wonderland with our special film lineup showcasing timeless classics and modern favorites,” Milwaukee Film Programming Director Kerstin Larson enthused. “From mischievous antics in Gremlins to heartwarming nostalgia in A Christmas Story, and the enchanting romance of When Harry Met Sally and Carol, there’s something for everyone,” she concluded.

On Sunday, December 8th, Milwaukee Film is thrilled to welcome Academy Award nominated filmmaker Whit Stillman to the Oriental Theatre for a special screening of his 1990 film Metropolitan followed by a Q&A.

Writer/Producer/Director Whit Stillman stated, “I have to confess that when we made Metropolitan we didn’t realize we’d be making what some would later embrace as a ‘Christmas Movie’ but it is one and we’re delighted that that has served as a pretext to bring the film this December to Milwaukee’s beautiful Oriental Theatre.”
