MADISON — In a letter to the White House co-signed by 31 Republican governors, Scott Walker reiterated his support for anti-healthcare and anti-choice Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

“Walker has spent his career attacking Wisconsinites’ health care options, so it only makes sense that he supports someone who would do the same on the Supreme Court,” said Martha Laning, chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. “The far-right agenda that Kavanaugh and Walker ascribe to will only bring pain and hardship for the people of Wisconsin.”

Kavanaugh was selected by President Trump because he would be in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade. Scott Walker, meanwhile, has signed into law several pieces of legislation that severely limit a woman’s right to obtain an abortion in Wisconsin, including a 20-week ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. Kavanaugh’s past record and rhetoric suggest that he would be a threat to the future of the Affordable Care Act.

Scott Walker greenlit Brad Schimel’s lawsuit which would repeal the ACA, sabotaging health care access for 850,000 Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions.

  1. Terry says:

Of course corrupt Career Politician Scott Walker loves this far right-wing extremist. Why? Because Scott Walker (and crazy Leah Vukmir) support letting the Big Government force victims of rape and incest to have their sick, disgusting rapist’s babies! Even if the woman’s own life is at risk!?? That’s right! This is pure extremist republican madness! If right-wing extremists like Walker, Vukmir and Kavanaugh are in power next year, back alley abortions will be coming back to Wisconsin. Big Government can’t force women to have incestuous rapist’s babies! That is wrong!!

    Dump Kavanaugh
    Dump Trump
    Dump Walker
    Dump Vukmir
    Dump ALL republicans in 2018
