Schedule released for 10th annual Bronzeville Week
Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs today released the schedule for the 10th annual (2021) Bronzeville Week (August 7-14).

Bronzeville Week 2021 takes place from August 7 – 14, with the HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run kicking things off on Saturday, August 7 at 8:30 a.m. Brunch in Bronzeville is on Saturday and Sunday (August 7 & 8) from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., and We Do It For the Culture: Old School Day Party, is on Sunday (August 8) from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Bronzeville Sleepover for Education starts at 7 p.m. on Sunday and goes until 8 a.m. on Monday, August 9.This year’s Bronzeville Week will be a hybrid of virtual and in-person events. The details of events can be found on the Bronzeville Week Facebook page.
An official City of Milwaukee event now in its 10th full year, Bronzeville Week has become the premier celebration of Milwaukee’s rich African American legacy of culture, arts, history and entertainment.
“Bronzeville Week is a celebration of arts, culture, commerce and the tremendous history of the Bronzeville District, and this 10th year is very special,” Alderwoman Coggs said. “The events have enriched and brought joy to thousands of attendees over the years, and I encourage you to be a part of it from August 7th to the 14th.”
