Russ Darrow Group Hosts Junior Achievement Auction- Raises Nearly $500K

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – The Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Holiday Auction & Gala, held on December 7, 2019, raised $497,000 in gross revenue for JA student programs and activities in the Metro Milwaukee Area. The Holiday Auction was hosted by the Russ Darrow Group at the new Russ Darrow Group Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Honda dealerships in the Metro Auto Mall on the Northwest side of Milwaukee. More than 240 community leaders and guests were in attendance.

The Holiday Auction is an annual event sponsored by Milwaukee businesses. This is the second time Russ Darrow Group has served as the Host Sponsor, the first being 20 years ago. In addition to the Holiday Auction, the Russ Darrow Group is the sponsor of the JA Finance Park Transportation Center, located at the JA Kohl’s Education Center in Milwaukee.

“We are grateful for the extraordinary support of the Milwaukee community for our students, including the generosity of the Russ Darrow Group,” said Michael Frohna, President of Junior Achievement. “More than 140,000 students across Wisconsin are impacted annually by our philanthropic communities.”

“Supporting financial literacy and entrepreneurial education to equip today’s youth to succeed in a global economy is very important to our organization, as we bring up America’s future workforce,” stated Mike Darrow, President of the Russ Darrow Group.
