Riverwest’s Jazz Gallery will display works promoting peace
"Raise Your Voice for Peace," opening April 5, is a regional juried show for socially engaged and politically motivated art
An exhibit called “Raise Your Voice for Peace” will have its opening reception at Riverwest’s Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts, 926 E. Center Street, on Monday, April 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. The show will run at the Jazz Gallery through Saturday, May 2.
The event is a juried exhibition of two-dimensional social-justice artworks that address political, environmental, gender and equality issues.
The Riverwest Artist Association encourages all who are interested to enter the show and be heard. Dropoff of artworks will be Saturday, April 4, with installation on Sunday, April 5.
