Residents encouraged to attend annual turkey distribution
Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs encourages Milwaukee residents to attend Missionary Currie’s annual turkey and diaper distribution on Friday, November 21, at 4:00 p.m. The drive-up event at 274 E. Keefe Ave. will provide 200 free turkeys and diapers to families while supplies last.
“This distribution event offers valuable support to families as they prepare for the holiday season,” said Alderwoman Coggs. “Missionary Currie and the event partners continue to show their dedication to serving the community, and I encourage residents who may need assistance to take part in this great annual event.”Alderwoman Coggs is a sponsor of the giveaway, and is joined by several local partners, including JJ Fish & Chicken, Kuumba Juice & Coffee, and Riverworks Development Corp. Attendees are asked to remain in their vehicles as volunteers distribute items directly to them.
