OSHKOSH – State Representative Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) released the following statement thanking Rep. Dianne Hesselbein for her outstanding leadership as Assistant Democratic Leader:

“I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my dear friend Dianne for her leadership in the Assembly Democratic Caucus. Dianne has been a vital partner in our leadership team, and I know without a doubt we could not have accomplished everything we have over the past four years without her. She has been a great seatmate on good days and on some of the worst days. Dianne is tough, direct, and pays attention to detail, which I greatly appreciated during my tenure as leader.

“At every turn, Dianne has championed our Democratic values and goals and worked to keep our caucus focused on the important challenges at hand and was always willing to travel to any corner of the state when needed. She has fought for smart policy and effective politics, and helped cultivate greater caucus unity while still honoring members’ individual voices and priorities. She has also served as a trusted mentor in our caucus, providing unfailingly thoughtful insight for members new and old.

“I am deeply grateful for Dianne’s leadership, friendship, and collaboration, and I look forward to continuing to work together. I also want to thank Dianne’s outstanding staff for their incredible contributions and dedication.”
