Rep Hintz: Statement on Approval of Revised Foxconn Contract
MADISON – Today, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) board of directors unanimously voted to approve a revised contract between WEDC and Foxconn. Rep. Hintz issued the following statement:
“Our goal has always been to support the creation of good-paying jobs that will hopefully spur additional good-paying jobs, and that goal remains the same as we look ahead. I commend Governor Evers, Secretary Hughes, her team at WEDC, and everyone involved in the negotiation with Foxconn for charting a way forward that will accomplish our goal while taking steps to ensure that the people of Wisconsin are protected and their tax dollars are invested wisely.”
