Reminder: Wisconsin Women in Government Seeking Professional Women to Join Board of Directors
Candidates interested in joining the 2020 Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG) Board of Directors are reminded to apply by COB this Friday, August 14
WWIG is a statewide, bipartisan, non-profit organization of women in government service, and is seeking professional women to join the WWIG Board of Directors for a three year term beginning in August 2020.
“Wisconsin Women in Government is fortunate to be led by a group of talented, hardworking women and we’re excited to be seeking several new members to join our board of directors. In these unique and challenging times, we need passionate women in government service now more than ever. If this describes you, we hope you’ll consider using your talents to support our organization,” said WWIG President Bethany Anderson.
To apply, women should send their resume, two references and a cover letter describing why they would like to join the WWIG Board of Directors by close of business on Friday, August 14, 2020, to wwigquestions@gmail.com. Please include a description of your relevant experience and the specific skills you can contribute to the board.
