Quasimondo Milwaukee Physical Theatre presents CHILDREN OF PAC-MEN

Next-Gen Puppetry & Open World Science Fiction Directed by Brian Rott & Jessi Miller Nov. 20th - Dec. 6th @ Studio G in The Shops of Grand Ave.

By - Oct 25th, 2015 10:27 pm

Quasimondo launches its fourth season with a retro-spectacle on the future of gameplay. Crawling with centipedes, conspiracy theories, space invaders, and other ghosts from the golden age of video gaming, Children of Pac-Men digs up the classics to vintage a new generation cultured on information. From the arcade to the arcane, an algorithm of spoken word, dance, black-light puppetry, and an 8-bit score creates the next level of virtual entertainment. Game over. Play on.

Quasimondo Milwaukee Physical Theatre is an ensemble of multidisciplinary artists committed to creating original work through inter-arts collaboration. We explore forms of performance and fuse modes of expression, challenging theatrical paradigms to create innovative work that is aural, kinetic, visual, and visceral. We strive through research, training, and performance to expose ourselves and audiences to international theatrical traditions and perspectives. It is our mission to make theatre that celebrates the diversity of the world we live in, that communicates in a common sensory language; that inspires audiences and enriches the community.

We invite you to share with us in our “kind of world” (Quasimondo)
