President Pérez announces Clifton W. Crump to serve as Policy and Administration Director

Today, I am delighted to announce the hiring of Clifton W. Crump as the new Policy and Administration Director in my office.
Mr. Crump’s drive, ingenuity, integrity and dedication to the City, which includes a distinguished 20-year career of leadership in four City departments, will be an invaluable asset to my office and the City of Milwaukee.
Mr. Crump has previously served as the Operations Manager with the City’s Fire and Police Commission, Liaison Officer in the Office of the Mayor, Project Manager in the Redevelopment Authority, and Secretary to the Board of Zoning Appeals. He also has served on the City’s Bronzeville Advisory Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Black Male Achievement Advisory Council.He brings a tremendous amount of experience to the table in areas that are currently at the forefront of City discussions and planning. Whether it be zoning, housing, employment, issues of equity, policing or achievement, Mr. Crump brings a unique skill set to this position, including perspectives garnered from his most recent post as the Chief Operations Officer of a Charter School network.
Mr. Crump, who is a lifelong Milwaukee resident, currently serves on the Visit Milwaukee Board and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
