Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at approximately 6:44 p.m. in the 6800 block of W. Oklahoma Ave. The victim, a 48-year-old, collided with a tree and died on the scene. The victim was the driver and only occupant of the vehicle. This investigation is ongoing, but speed is believed to be a factor.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at approximately 9:55 p.m. in the 6400 block of W Sheridan Ave. The victim, a 26-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation, and Milwaukee Police are seeking information to identify a suspect in connection with this incident. National Ave. A pedestrian was crossing the road when they were struck by a passing vehicle. The victim, a 47-year-old, suffered life threatening injuries and died on scene. The driver of the vehicle did not stop or return to the scene. The circumstances leading up to the hit and run are under investigation, and Milwaukee Police are seeking information to identify a vehicle and suspect in connection with this incident.
