We applaud the efforts by the governor in directing the Department of Health Services to cover over-the-counter contraception for BadgerCare Plus members. Increasing access to contraception, including emergency contraception, ensures that everyone in our state has the freedom to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions without interference by politicians. We thank Governor Evers for reaffirming his commitment to veto any bill that takes away reproductive freedom and to look forward to working with the governor to protect and expand reproductive rights.”
