Peter Burgelis Announces Campaign for Alderman in Milwaukee’s 11th District
"I am running for Alderman because we need someone on the Common Council who will focus on real solutions, not just quick fixes."
MILWAUKEE- Peter Burgelis announced his candidacy today for Alderman in Milwaukee’s 11th District in the Spring 2020 election. Peter currently works as a mortgage lender, helping hundreds of families secure financing for their homes.
“Milwaukee is a great city and the best place to call home,” said Peter Burgelis, “I am running for Alderman because we need someone on the Common Council who will focus on real solutions, not just quick fixes. The challenges our neighborhood faces are not unique. They are the same problems and obstacles citywide. We cannot fix one pothole and hope the others go away- city services are interrelated and the city leadership needs to stand together to make all of Milwaukee an even better place to live, work and play.”
Peter grew up in Wauwatosa, attended Marquette University High School and graduated from the University of Louisville. A mortgage professional since 2004, he returned to Milwaukee in 2012. He is active in the non-profit community and enjoys supporting worthy causes.
“I’m here to listen and work hard to earn the support, trust and vote of my neighbors in the 11th District. I look forward to hearing more from my neighbors about how this office can best serve them and I’d love to share some of my ideas with them as well. You’ll be seeing a lot of me on the campaign trail and knocking at your door.”
Peter resides in the Jackson Park neighborhood of Milwaukee with his adopted beagle, Booker.
The election for District 11 Alderman will be held in April, 2020 with a primary in February, if necessary.
