Pedestrian Fatality on W Fond du Lac Ave: Driver Arrested in Milwaukee Incident
Milwaukee Police were involved in a vehicle pursuit that occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025, at approximately 8:28 p.m., in the 3700 block of W. Fond Du Lac Avenue. MPD officers observed a reckless vehicle and attempted to make a stop. The driver refused and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended when the driver lost control and struck a bus shelter, two parked cars and a pedestrian on W. Fond Du Lac Avenue and N. Sherman Boulevard. The pedestrian, a 55-year-old, sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old man, was arrested and transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
