PEARLS Partners with Howard University for Alternative Spring Break 2025

Milwaukee, WI – February 27, 2025– PEARLS is proud to partner with Howard University for their Howard University Alternative Spring Break (HUASB) 2025 program. As part of this initiative, 12 Howard University students will volunteer their time to support PEARLS’ mission on Tuesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 6, from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at 1805 N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53212.

Volunteers will engage in meaningful service by writing thank-you notes to donors, labeling packets with the PEARLS logo for their upcoming gala Inspired to Lead on April 17th, and packaging t-shirts and hats for supporters of their successful Year-End Campaign. Their contributions play a vital role in strengthening PEARLS’ connection with its donor community, ensuring that supporters feel valued and appreciated.

The HUASB program is a long-standing Howard University tradition that allows students to serve communities across the country during their spring break. Through this partnership, students will gain hands-on experience in community engagement while making a lasting impact in Milwaukee.
