Packers Release LB Welch

The Green Bay Packers released LB Kristian Welch. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Monday.

Welch, a sixth-year player out of the University of Iowa, spent the regular season on the Packers’ practice squad before being signed to the active roster on Saturday.
