Northwestern Mutual’s Support for Policyowners Impacted by COVID-19

60-day grace period

Northwestern Mutual is committed to supporting clients that are experiencing financial challenges due to COVID-19. A 60-day grace period will be provided to any individual and group Northwestern Mutual policy entering its grace period between March 1, 2020 and June 1, 2020. Policies with a valid claim between day 31 and 60 will be paid under the terms of their policy. The grace period applies to individual and group policies for the following products: Individual Whole Life, Term and DI (including DOE, Buyout, and Key Person); Group Life; and Group DI.
