Nomad’s Bizarre Bazaar Kicks Off Oc 1 & 2, 2022

By - Sep 28th, 2022 08:26 pm

The event includes entertainment with televised sports, live DJ’s, Oktoberfest specials on food and beverage and features a large rummage sale where Brady Street and Nomad super fans can take home everything from nostalgia items like vintage barware, kitchen and bar equipment, tools, furniture, bar stools, beer signs, SUP’s, and even canoes and kayaks! In true to form “bazaar” fashion, there will be plenty of specialty items, Caravan merchandise and gift baskets as well as lots of usable (and sometimes amusing) JUNK!

“We are pulling out of our storage facility so we decided to get rid of everything and have some serious fun doing it” Eitel said. “We’ve got non-stop soccer matches, college and NFL football games on the big screen and DJ’s dropping by to add the beats to the controlled chaos we are hoping to create,” he continued.

Folks are also able to take home one of the iconic palm trees that adorn the Brady Beach each summer as well as some of recently retired local potter (and Mike’s dad) Dave Eitel’s pottery collection starting on Saturday morning during the plant and pottery sale. The event kicks off at 10am Saturday and ends after the Green Bay Packer game on Sunday evening. Shoppers can enjoy the game on one of 10 outdoor TV’s and the big screen on the street. On Sunday, Brady Street will also be home to the annual Pet Parade so dog lovers are encouraged to stop by with Fido.

Palm tree lovers are asked to bring their own pots and shovels to remove plants as the Nomad patio pots will remain for an autumnal switch for the fall. Other tents will feature a variety of vintage and new merch, discount bins and swag for sale plus coffee drinks from Nomad Coffee Bar PLUS a Packer Brat Fry on Sunday!
