It won’t be just another Halloween in Milwaukee if local activity bar group, Bars & Recreation has anything to say about it.
It won’t be just another Halloween in Milwaukee if local activity bar group, Bars & Recreation has anything to say about it. Today, Bars & Recreation announced two new, innovative events celebrating the spookiest of holidays.
On Saturday, October 26, NorthSouth Club will host a free Halloween party featuring WMSE’s DJs The Boogie Bang Gang, drink specials, costume contests, and a free cocktail to anyone dressed in “NorthSouth attire” such as lumberjacks/jills or tropical gear. Attendees can guarantee their spot at the party (which is expected to reach capacity) by pre-reserving an axe throwing lane, deck shuffleboard court, or “NorthSouth Experience” between 8:00pm-Midnight.
On Halloween Night, Thursday, October 31, Trick, Treat and Play will take place at East Side favorites AXE MKE, Nine Below, and Splash Studio. Trick, Treat and Play is a crawl between the three bars which includes a complimentary themed cocktail at each location, 30 minutes of axe throwing at AXE MKE, three holes of mini-golf at Nine Below, and pumpkin (or canvas) painting at Splash Studio.
“Halloween is one of our favorite holidays, and we love to curate unique events that get the creative juices flowing. We know first-hand that being active, creative, and a little competitive takes a night from typical to outstanding” explains Bars & Rec Director Erin Hochevar.
Reservations for the NorthSouth Club Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26 are now open at www.northsouthclub.com and tickets to Trick, Treat and Play are available at https://tricktreatplay.eventbrite.com.
