Nenad Markovic Declares Candidacy For Wisconsin’s 82nd Assembly District

Franklin, Wisconsin — Political newcomer Nenad Markovic announced his candidacy Monday for Wisconsin State Assembly District 82, which includes Franklin, Greendale, and parts of Greenfield.

“For far too long, Republicans at all levels have been governing for a select few at the top and for their special interest friends,” said Markovic. “I’m running to represent working families and those not so privileged right here in Wisconsin.”

“It’s time for us to return to our progressive roots and to those progressive ideals championed by “Fighting Bob” La Follette so long ago. It’s time to renew the Wisconsin Idea,” Markovic said.

Markovic has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of WisconsinWhitewater. He currently works in the private sector and lives in Franklin with his wife of 8 years and their two children.
