MILWAUKEE (September 16, 2026) – From finding more storage in a crowded kitchen to making better use of a basement, garage or backyard, sometimes the best home improvement ideas are hiding in plain sight. The NARI Milwaukee Home & Remodeling Show brings together trusted local remodeling and home improvement professionals, along with plenty of inspiration for homeowners looking to make their homes work better, look better and fit the way they live.

The upcoming NARI Milwaukee Home & Remodeling Show is an easy way to connect with qualified resources who can provide insight and advice and get the job done right. NARI’s annual show runs Oct. 9-11 at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis.

Approximately 100 NARI Milwaukee members will be exhibiting and on hand to answer questions, make recommendations and provide guidance, solutions and creative suggestions. In fact, for 2027 indoor and outdoor projects, now is the time for homeowners to line up trusted, local professionals.

Participating exhibitors at the NARI Milwaukee Home & Remodeling Show run the gamut of remodeling and home improvement services and products – from design/build firms to specialized contractors for all areas of the home, including basements, roofing, gutters, windows, doors, HVAC, electrical and more.

Hidden Potential Showcase

At this year’s show, a special area will spotlight how to identify and use “hidden potential” in a home.

“Homeowners are often surprised by how much potential already exists within their home,” says Michelle Brown, executive director of NARI Milwaukee. “It could be an underused corner, a closet that isn’t organized efficiently or a formal dining room, attic or other space that could be doing much more. A NARI professional can help homeowners look at those areas differently and find solutions that make sense for the way they live.”

Finding more usable space doesn’t always require a major remodeling project – although it’s oftentimes a viable option. Smarter storage, built-ins, better organization or rethinking how an existing area is used can make a noticeable difference. Kitchens, bathrooms, closets, laundry rooms, garages, basements and even outdoor spaces can all hold opportunities to gain function.

The Hidden Potential area will feature a:

  • Laundry Room – designed by Brookfield Design Remodel with a space-saving laundry center from Grand Appliance and solar lighting from Solatube
  • Mudroom Cabinet – designed by Lifetime Renovations with compartments, bins and hooks to maximize limited space and provide everyday organization
  • Closet – designed by Closets by Design, features efficient organization systems for big and small spaces
  • Kitchen Pantry – designed by Closets by Design, an efficient pantry puts everything within reach and improves maximizes limited space
  • Outdoor Living – designed by Excel Custom Contractors, an outdoor space can extend a home’s footprint to entertain family and friends

Free Admission During Final Hours

This year, the show will host two hours with free admission. On Sunday, Oct. 11, the final two hours of the show (3–5 p.m.) are free during the Packers game. It’s the perfect opportunity for non-football fans—or anyone who wants to catch the show before it closes—to explore at no cost.
