MTEA Announces Endorsements in Milwaukee Spring Elections
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Teachers’ Education Association (MTEA) announced today that it has endorsed the following candidates in Milwaukee spring elections:
Milwaukee County Executive: Chris Larson
City of Milwaukee Comptroller: Alex Brower
Milwaukee County Board:
- District 2: Sequanna Taylor
- District 4: Ryan Clancy
- District 5: Marcelia Nicholson
- District 6: Shawn Rolland
- District 7: Felesia Martin
- District 8: Steven Shea
- District 10: Supreme Moore Omokunde
- District 12: Sylvia Ortiz-Velez
City of Milwaukee Common Council:
- District 2: Chevy Johnson
- District 5: Nikiya Dodd
- District 8: Justin Bielinski
- District 11: Peter Burgelis
- District 14: Marina Dimitrijevic
MTEA President Amy Mizialko issued the following statement:
“MTEA is proud to endorse a dynamic slate of candidates for Milwaukee County Executive, City of Milwaukee Comptroller, Milwaukee County Board and City of Milwaukee Common Council. Each of these candidates has shown, in their previous work, their campaigns, and in endorsement interviews, that they are the best candidate in their respective races for MPS students, parents, and workers.”
