MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) and American Family Insurance today announced a multi-year partnership extension, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to Summerfest and the broader community.

The renewed agreement continues American Family Insurance’s role as the naming rights partner of the American Family Insurance Amphitheater and the first-ever presenting sponsor of Summerfest, which includes support of festival programming, fan experiences, and community impact. The partnership also continues the popular American Family Insurance House experience, which announced its 2026 Summerfest lineup today featuring Passion Pit, Cameron Whitcomb, Grouplove, Soul Asylum, Spin Doctors, Spoon, and others.

The renewal with American Family Insurance includes the following components:

  • Presenting Sponsor of Summerfest – as the official presenting sponsor, American Family Insurance continues its support of one of the largest independent music festivals. Established in 1968, Summerfest is recognized for its multi-genre lineup, scenic lakefront setting, and reputation as one of the most affordable festivals in the world.
  • American Family Insurance Amphitheater – naming rights for the 23,000-seat concert venue at Henry Maier Festival Park, home to top touring artists and live music experiences for fans and performers alike. The lineup for 2026 includes some of the top names in music with Garth Brooks, Megan Moroney, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Muse, Don Toliver, Jelly Roll, Alex Warren, Rüfüs Du Sol, The Strokes, and many more.
  • Community Impact – a key element of American Family Insurance’s partnership strategy is its continued support of initiatives that create meaningful impact. American Family will continue to support the Let the Music Play Grant Program, which launched in 2018. Since its inception, the program has strengthened music education across Milwaukee County, funding more than 60 organizations and positively impacting thousands of students. With American Family Insurance’s renewed support, the Let the Music Play grants will continue to generate impact for local music nonprofits and school programs and provide opportunities for youth to perform at Summerfest.
  • American Family Insurance House at Summerfest– A fan favorite destination, the American Family Insurance House offers exclusive, up-close performances, artist meet-and-greets and interactive experiences. Guests can enjoy customized festival swag, a photo booth, and scenic rooftop hangouts and lounge space. The House is open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during Summerfest, with free entry on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans attending a performance are encouraged to line up one hour prior to showtime. And we’re proud our partnership also supports impactful community initiatives like the Let the Music Play Grant Program, inspiring the dreams of young performers.”

In addition to being the first-ever presenting sponsor of Summerfest, American Family Insurance played a pivotal role in MWF’s fundraising campaign supporting the redevelopment of the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Since reopening in 2021, overall activity at the Amphitheater has increased by 89 percent compared with the pre-renovation period from 2015–2019. This growth reflects expanded programming and reinforces the venue’s role as a cornerstone of Milwaukee’s live music and event landscape.

American Family Insurance also provided capital support for the North Gate and Community Plaza project at the 75-acre Henry Maier Festival Park, further strengthening our connection to the Milwaukee community.
