Milwaukee Road Rage Incident Leads to Gunfire and Injuries; Drivers in Custody
Milwaukee Police are investigating a road rage incident that occurred on Saturday, August 22th , 2026, at approximately 10 a.m., on the 4200 block of West Capitol Drive. During the incident, gunfire was exchanged, and both subjects sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at local hospitals. In addition, a 1-year-old passenger of one of the vehicles also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. Both drivers are in custody, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
