Milwaukee residents invited to Rhythm & Bloom concert series opening

Alderman Cavalier Johnson and Alderwoman Chantia Lewis invite their neighbors to attend the opening event of the Rhythm & Bloom Havenwoods Concert Series tonight, July 21st for an evening of live local music and food celebrating summer in Milwaukee. The first concert will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Green Tree Community Garden at W. 60th Street and N. Green Tree Road. The “Family Night” lineup includes Fox and Branch and Kelli & the Soul Mates, with food from the Jamaican Kitchen & Grill food truck.

“This concert series is a fantastic way to get out and celebrate summer,” Alderwoman Lewis said. “I can’t wait to see my neighbors and enjoy some great entertainment.”

The Rhythm & Bloom Havenwoods Concert Series is sure to bring people in the community together and make this a summer to remember,” Alderman Johnson said.
