Milwaukee Recreation will hold the second annual Family Day of Play on Saturday, May 30, at Wick Playfield (4929 W. Vliet Street) from 11:00am – 2:00pm.

Participants are invited to take part in various activities such as an obstacle course, craft stations, carnival games, GaGa Pit, and more. The event will also feature live music and raffle drawings for a chance to win prizes. Food trucks from local vendors will be available on-site, offering snacks and refreshments for purchase.

“We’re excited to bring Family Day of Play back this year,” said Derek Donlevy, Manager – Milwaukee Recreation. “After the success of last year’s event, we’re building on that momentum with new additions like ‘Foam Frenzy’ featuring our Milwaukee Recreation foam bubble cannon and a family relay race designed to get everyone involved. We invite the Milwaukee community to join us at Wick Playfield for a day of fun, activity, and connection.”

Families are welcome to bring their own picnic lunches to the event. A limited number of tables and chairs will be available, and various sports equipment will be provided for free play.

Admission for city of Milwaukee residents is $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Admission for non-residents is $20 for adults and $8 for youth. Pre-registration is encouraged, but on-site registration will also be available the morning of the event.
