Milwaukee Police Investigate Unrelated Fatal Shootings on North Side; One Suspect in Custody

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at approximately 2:00 pm., on the 8500 block of N. 107th St. The victim, a 40-year-old, sustained gunshot wounds and succumbed to their injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. The Milwaukee Police Department continues to seek suspect(s). Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at approximately 3:40 pm., on the 6500 block of W Mill Rd. The victim, a 53-year-old, sustained gunshot wounds and succumbed to their injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. The Milwaukee Police Department has a suspect in custody related to this incident and charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney Office.
