Milwaukee Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting, Suspect in Custody
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at approximately 5:30 a.m., on the 3900 block of N. 24th Place. The victim, a 19-year-old, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. A subject was taken into custody regarding this incident, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
