Milwaukee Police Investigate Double Shooting and Separate Incident, Seek Public’s Help

Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Friday, January 9, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., on the 3400 block of N. 17th Street. The suspects fired shots into a vehicle subsequently striking the victims. Victim #1 is a 43-year-old and was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Victim #2 is a 49-year-old and was transported to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects. The suspects were exchanging gunfire and subsequently struck the uninvolved victim. The 37-year-old victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
