Milwaukee Police Investigate Accidental Shooting of 14-Year-Old; Two Arrested
Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at approximately 3:25 p.m., on the 9000 block of N. 85th Street. The suspect was mishandling a firearm when it discharged as the victim struck. The victim, a 14-year-old, sustained non-fatal injuries. A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were arrested. The investigation is ongoing. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
