Milwaukee Police Capture Suspect After Fatal Shooting and High-Speed Chase
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, at approximately 9:54 a.m., on the 5700 block of N. 94th St. The 42-year-old victim suffered fatal gunshot injuries and was pronounce deceased despite life-saving measures. The suspect vehicle was observed in the area and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle crashed on the 12100 block of W. Capitol Dr. A 29-year-old male was taken into custody. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are under investigation.
Charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
