Milwaukee Hit-and-Run: Police Seek Suspect After Pedestrian Critically Injured

Milwaukee Police are investigating a crash that occurred on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at approximately 8:43 p.m., on the 2700 block of W. Highland Boulevard. A vehicle was travelling westbound on West Highland Blvd and struck a pedestrian that was attempting to cross the street northbound. The 61-year-old pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The driver fled the scene. Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
