Milwaukee Hit-and-Run: Pedestrian Killed, Good Samaritan Injured in Double Crash
Milwaukee Police are investigating a crash that occurred on Monday, September 7, 2026, at approximately 11:15 p.m., on the 4500 block of North Teutonia Avenue. A vehicle was travelling southbound when it struck a pedestrian in the street. The vehicle fled the location. A subject witnessed the pedestrian being struck and attempted to render aid. While rendering aid, a second vehicle, also travelling southbound struck the witness, as well as the pedestrian. The 24-year-old pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. The second subject struck, a 44-year-old, was conveyed to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s) regarding the initial crash.
