Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley Stands in Solidarity with Milwaukee Art Museum Workers Union Drive

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley released the following statement in support of the 150 workers at the Milwaukee Art Museum who are organizing with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 66 union:

“I am proud to stand in solidarity and stand in support with the workers of the Milwaukee Art Museum who are organizing for a union with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 66. I support MAM workers who are standing together and seeking union recognition. I encourage all involved to negotiate in a fair and equitable way. The Milwaukee Art Museum is a world-class experience. The expertise of the workforce enriches the lives of all who visit, and this enriches our county and community.”

    David, is the contract settled between AFSCME Local 526 and the Milwaukee Public Museum yet??
    Do you support those workers also? MPM has lost my membership renewal until that is accomplished!

    David, Labor relations that do not involve the county are none of your business, stay out of them. You have enough county problems to deal with.
