Milwaukee Candle Co Presents MKE Cleanup Series: Uniting Community for a Cleaner, Greener Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI – March 15, 2024 – Milwaukee Candle Co is proud to announce its inaugural “MKE Cleanup Series,” aimed at fostering community engagement and environmental stewardship across Milwaukee’s iconic neighborhoods. In collaboration with esteemed local organizations like Friends of the Domes and Walker’s Point Association, the cleanup events will take place on consecutive weekends throughout April, offering residents and businesses the opportunity to join forces in preserving the beauty of our beloved city.

The series kicks off on April 7th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mitchell Park, in collaboration with Friends of the Domes. Participants will have the chance to contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of one of Milwaukee’s cherished green spaces, while enjoying the company of fellow community members.

On April 14th, the focus shifts to Bradford Beach, a beloved destination synonymous with Milwaukee’s vibrant spirit. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, volunteers will converge on the sandy shores to partake in a beach cleanup initiative, ensuring that this iconic locale remains pristine for residents and visitors alike.

The series concludes on April 21st from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Walker’s Point, in collaboration with the Walker’s Point Association. As one of the city’s most dynamic and culturally rich neighborhoods, Walker’s Point will serve as the backdrop for a collaborative effort to beautify and maintain its streets, parks, and communal spaces.
