Milwaukee Bucks Trade Pat Connaughton To Charlotte
MILWAUKEE (July 7, 2025) – The Milwaukee Bucks have traded Pat Connaughton and two second-round draft picks to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Vasilije Micić.
Connaughton has played in 440 games (66 starts) over seven seasons with the Bucks, averaging 6.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.6 minutes per game while shooting 44.1% from the field. He shot 35.5% from three and totaled 585 made threes with Milwaukee, the fifth-most by a player in franchise history. A 2021 NBA Champion with the Bucks, Connaughton also appeared in 73 postseason contests (1 start) with the team and averaged 6.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game on 46.9% shooting from the field and 38.2% shooting from three.
The Notre Dame product was originally selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 41st overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He appeared in 155 games (6 starts) over three seasons with Portland before joining the Bucks ahead of the 2018-19 campaign. A 10-year NBA veteran, Connaughton has played in 595 career games (72 starts) averaging 6.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 19.2 minutes per game while shooting 43.8% from the field with a 35.6% mark from three.
