Milwaukee Bucks Sign AJ Green to a Two-Way Contract

MILWAUKEE (July 1, 2022) – The Milwaukee Bucks have signed AJ Green to a Two-Way contract.

A 6-4, 190-pound guard out of Northern Iowa, Green was named the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year after averaging 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in his final season with the Panthers. He also led the MVC in threes (93) and free throws (140) made last season while shooting 41.0% from the field, 38.8% from three and a conference-high 91.5% from the free-throw line.

Overall, Green averaged 17.8 points per game during his four seasons at Northern Iowa and left as the school’s fourth-highest scorer with 1,769 career points. With the Panthers, the 22-year-old Cedar Falls, Iowa native was a two-time First Team All-MVC selection (2022, 2020), the 2019 MVC Freshman of the Year and a finalist for the 2022 Lou Henson National Player of the Year Award, given annually to the top mid-major player in Division I.
