Milwaukee Bucks Re-sign Gary Trent Jr.
MILWAUKEE (July 8, 2025) – The Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed guard Gary Trent Jr.
In his first season with the Bucks, Trent Jr. played in 74 games during the 2024-25 campaign and averaged 11.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 25.6 minutes per game. He shot 43.1% from the field and 41.6% from three, marking the second-highest three-point percentage of his career and his highest since the 2019-20 season.
Originally selected with the 37th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, Trent Jr. has appeared in 415 games (210 starts) over seven NBA seasons with Portland, Toronto and Milwaukee. The Duke product has averaged 13.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game in the NBA while owning career shooting percentages of 42.3% from the field and 39.1% from three.
