Milwaukee Buck to Celebrate Pride on Jan. 25 vs. Denver Nuggets
Pride Celebration is presented by the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network
MILWAUKEE (Jan. 23, 2023) – The Milwaukee Bucks’ Pride Celebration, presented by the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network, will take place on Jan. 25 when the Bucks host the Denver Nuggets at Fiserv Forum at 7 p.m. CT. The Pride Celebration honors the LGBTQIA+ community in Wisconsin.
The Pride Night ticket package, which can be purchased here, includes a Pride scarf and a ticket to that night’s game vs. the Nuggets. Additionally, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Pride beanie, presented by the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. A special Pride t-shirt will also be available for purchase at the Bucks Pro Shop at Fiserv Forum and shop.bucks.com. A portion of the t-shirt proceeds will benefit Pathfinders, an organization that serves teens in crisis in the greater Milwaukee area.
Pride will be celebrated throughout the game with video spotlights showcasing Pride in the Milwaukee community and safe spaces, people and organizations that support and welcome people of all identities. Kenosha-native and alumna of NBC’s “The Voice” Betsy Ade will perform the national anthem, followed by a halftime performance featuring drag performers from the greater Milwaukee community.
Pride Night celebrations will continue with a postgame celebration at The MECCA from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The free event is open to the public and features drink specials and live music from DJ Boyfrrriend.
