MCSO Responds to Fatal Incident on I-43

Milwaukee, WI (September 5, 2020) On Saturday, September 5, at approximately 5:08 a.m., the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash westbound on I-43 near W. Forest Home Ave. When MCSO personnel arrived at the scene, they observed that a vehicle had crashed into the median wall and that its driver, a 52-year-old man, was unresponsive. The Greenfield Fire Department responded to the scene to attempt life-saving measures, but the driver was unable to be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary indications suggest that the crash may have been related to a medical emergency. MCSO’s investigation into this incident is ongoing.
