MCSO Responds to Fatal Crash
The Milwaukee Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene and performed life saving measures.
Milwaukee, WI (August 5, 2019) Today at approximately 11:07 a.m., Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies were dispatched to a report of a one vehicle crash on westbound I-94, just west of 16th St. and the 25th St. off-ramp. When deputies arrived on scene, they observed a van between the city barrier wall and freeway guardrail, where the vehicle had come to a complete stop after striking a cement sign. The Milwaukee Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene and performed life saving measures.
The sole male occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department Med Unit, where he was pronounced dead. MCSO is investigating the crash to determine the factors that were involved.
Video of the accident will not be released at this time, pending the investigation.
